Creating a sense of space and light in what was a very small interior using clever design techniques.

This old terrace had its roof space converted into a second storey and one of its original bedrooms served as bathroom, laundry and staircase. The opening up of the rear with a vaulted ceiling that allowed light and air to carry through both levels of the building.

Many of the original building materials were reused in this home.
